Applications

High accuracy units that provide a simple and low-cost means of indicating or regulating motor speed. They are flange-or foot-mounted and fitted to the commutator end of the motor.

Type PY, DC
A DC tachometer for medium accuracy speed-indicating and/or speed-regulating applications. It is flange-mounted and rebabbeted to the commutator endshield, and is coupled with an antibacklash coupling to the motor shaft extension.

Type BC 42 and BC 46
A DC tachometer for high accuracy speed-indicating and/or speed-regulating applications. Flange-mounted, rebbeted to the commutator endshield, and is coupled with an antibacklash coupling to the motor shaft extension. A footed frame and commutator end extension covered by a thimble allows belt driving a second tachometer mounted on the BC feet, and simplifies customer tachometer standardization.

Type AN-AC
An AC tachometer for medium accuracy speed-indicating or for use with some speed-regulating systems. Flange-mounted and rebbeted to the commutator endshield.

Type AN-DG
A zero-speed digital tachometer for high accuracy speed-indicating and/or speed-regulating applications. Flange-mounted and rabbeted to the commutator endshield.

TACH MOUNT
Universal tach mount for APY, PY and Type BC.
